Handwritten fuel tickets, meter readings copied by hand, errors found at invoicing: paper remains the main source of discrepancies.
Aircharge Refueler guides the operator on an ATEX zone 2-certified Android handheld mounted in the vehicle, or on a smartphone. The fuel order is sent by dispatch; its seven steps are validated automatically by the parking brake, the power take-off and the meter. While driving, the screen shows only the essentials: stand, aircraft registration, fuel supplier code.
The quantity ordered by the airline is displayed with the mass-to-volume conversion at the day's density and temperature. The eFuel ticket is signed on the handheld and printed over Bluetooth when required. Without network coverage, degraded mode keeps the fuelling going.
