Dune CMMS

The CMMS for your quarries and plants, wired into production

Maintenance routines in a binder, breakdowns reported by radio, a wheel loader found broken at the start of the shift: on most sites, maintenance runs alongside production rather than with it.

Dune CMMS is the maintenance module of the Synaxe platform, already in production at airport fuelling operators. It covers your mobile plant and fixed installations: crushers, screens, conveyors, wheel loaders, dump trucks, plants and weighbridges. Calendar- or meter-based preventive maintenance, work requests on tablet, parts stock and maintenance KPIs in a single tool.

Dune Gestion: multi-site management of quarries and plants from a single interface

Key features

1

Calendar- or engine-hour-based preventive maintenance: oil changes, greasing, wear parts, inspections

2

Work orders and requests on the handheld: criticality, photo, parts used, signature

3

Real-time equipment availability: mobile plant and fixed installations, KPIs and history per asset

A complete CMMS

Built for aggregates and building-materials sites

A quarry or a batching plant is not maintained like an office building. Crushers, screens and conveyors wear with tonnage, mobile plant with engine hours, and every stoppage halts production. Dune CMMS covers the full maintenance cycle of a site, on the same platform as your operations.

Preventive

Scheduled maintenance routines

Oil changes, greasing, inspection of crusher jaws, screen meshes and conveyor belts. Triggered by calendar or by meter: engine hours, running hours, tonnage.

Corrective

Work requests from the field

The operator or shift supervisor reports the defect from the tablet, with a criticality level and a photo. The maintenance manager qualifies, assigns and tracks it until the equipment is back in service.

Parts & stock

Workshop stock under control

Wear and spare parts catalogue, stock issues linked to each work order, reorder thresholds. You know what every machine and installation costs, part by part.

Assets

All your equipment

Crushers, screens, conveyors, wheel loaders, dump trucks, excavators, concrete and asphalt plants, weighbridges: every asset has its own record, routines, documents and history.

Management

Maintenance KPIs

Equipment availability, preventive ratio, MTBF, MTTR, overdue routines, cost per asset and per site. Up-to-date indicators, with no re-keying into a spreadsheet.

Traceability

Traceable inspections, stress-free audits

Every check is time-stamped, signed and documented. Periodic inspections, third-party reports and a machine's full history can be pulled in minutes, for auditors and inspectors alike.

How it works

From breakdown to machine back in production, with no paper and no radio

01

Plan

Routines generate work orders automatically, by calendar or as soon as a meter reaches its threshold.

02

Report

In the field, the operator or shift supervisor reports a defect from the tablet: criticality, photo, comment. Nothing gets lost between shifts.

03

Repair

The equipment is flagged as down and operations know it. The technician carries out the work, records parts used, documents and signs.

04

Return to service and analyse

The return to service is recorded and the equipment is available again. KPIs and history update themselves.

Integrated CMMS

Why not a generic CMMS?

A stand-alone CMMS manages maintenance. Dune CMMS connects it to production, where plant availability and crew safety are won or lost.

FAQ

Dune CMMS in practice

Do I need the full Dune suite to use the CMMS?

No. The CMMS is an optional module. It delivers its full value when connected to the other Dune modules (weighing, management, kiosks), and our team will define the right scope for your site with you.

Are maintenance routines included?

Standard routines are configured with you at go-live, based on manufacturer recommendations and your current practices, then adjustable at any time.

Which equipment can be managed?

Mobile plant (wheel loaders, dump trucks, excavators, dozers), fixed installations (crushers, screens, conveyors, hoppers), concrete and asphalt plants, weighbridges and utilities. Each asset has its own record, routines, documents and history.

Do technicians need to learn a new tool?

No. Work orders and requests are handled on a tablet, with comments, photos, parts used and signature. No paper forms to re-key at the end of the day.

Can I manage several sites?

Yes. Each asset is attached to its site, and KPIs roll up at group level: availability, maintenance costs and preventive ratio per quarry or per plant.
